On Saturday, July 23, in the city of Jelgava, Prāta Vētra will start the “Gads Bez Kalendāra” ("A Year without a calendar") concert tour. Concerts will be held in five Latvian cities - on July 23 in Jelgava, in the Lielupe meadow opposite Jelgava Castle, on July 30 in Valmiera, in Dīvaliņa meadows, on August 6 in Daugavpils, at the “Lokomotive” stadium, on August 13 in Ventspils, Renķa garden and on August 20 in Riga, in Mežaparka Open Air stage. While preparing for the concerts, the band also publishes a music video of the title song of the new album "Gads bez Kalendāra", which was recorded together with Asnate Rancāne, a member of the contemporary folk music band Tautumeitas: "The song was written at a time when everything was happening remotely and darkness seemed to break in through all the cracks. The moments when Tautumeitas and Prāta Vētra were working on our joint album songs in the studio were like an oasis where we refreshed ourselves and where new friendships and also a new duet flourished” says Asnate Rancāne about the song. Jānis Šipkēvics will perform as a special guest before Prāta Vētra with his solo project "SHIPSEA", to tell the story of his experience in a musical language full of contrasts together with a strong group of accompanying musicians. He will be the support act in all 5 concerts. Concerts will include songs that are already well known and beloved by listeners, as well as songs from the new album "Gads bez Kalendāra". "The first concert is getting very close! We will have five summer evenings with friends and loved ones! No rehearsal can replace the big stage, so this concert tour, meeting our audience again is a very exciting moment for us. It will be one inspiring sing-along!" - The band admits. Kaspars Roga and Ainars Pastars ("Company NA") are taking care of the visual concept and scenography of the tour stage, which will be complemented by magnificent light and video effects created by the best lighting directors and video artists.
