As previously announced, Prāta Vētra will embark on a concert tour across Latvia this summer, delighting fans in five cities: July 26 in Jelgava, August 2 in Valmiera, August 9 in Ventspils, August 16 in Daugavpils, and August 23 at the Mežaparks Grand Stage in Riga. The band is excited to announce that the special guest for the “Pirmās dienas tūre” will be the young and talented Chris Noah, whose hits "Cik tālu vēl?", "Nomodā", and "Kādreiz" have topped Latvian radio charts. His album "Atvadas nav skumjas, ja zinām, ka drīz tiksimies" led to two sold-out concerts at the concert hall Palladium.
"There’s always a special guest at our major concerts to welcome and entertain the audience at the start of the evening. We believe Chris Noah’s performance with his fantastic bandmates will be a wonderful opportunity to hear and discover a rising star in Latvian pop music! Romance isn’t dead, and you’ll want to stay wide awake all evening," says Prāta Vētra enthusiastically.
Chris Noah shared: "I’m honored and grateful to the Prāta Vētra team for this opportunity! I’ve never performed in some of the tour cities before, and I’m really looking forward to the start of the ‘First Day Tour.’ Prāta Vētra’s concerts have always been a highly anticipated event for me too — this summer we’ll bring our very best to the stage!"
In Jelgava, Valmiera, Ventspils, and Daugavpils, gates will open at 6:00 PM, while in Riga at the Mežaparks Grand Stage, attendees will be welcomed from 5:00 PM. Concerts will begin at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available nationwide via the ticketing platform ekase.lv, at the shopping mall "Spice" information center, the store "Manilla", and ticket offices in Jelgava, Valmiera, Ventspils, and Daugavpils.
"We’re fully immersed in the planning and organization of a large-scale, high-quality concert show. At the moment, we’re filming visuals for the concert, closely collaborating with the host cities, organizing tour logistics, and doing everything we can to keep it exciting for ourselves and the audience. Fans can sing along to both the new album Pūķa lietošanas instrukcija and their favorite Prāta Vētra songs. Please note that ticket prices will change starting June 16," the Prāta Vētra team adds.
The band expresses gratitude to the tour’s supporters, without whom it would be much harder to deliver the planned concert experience. The tour is presented by Mītavas bezalkoholiskais alus, and supported by Signet bank, DSV, Storent, Samsung, Balcia, CityBee, Neste, Pastaiga magazine, Delfi.lv, TV3 Group, JcDecaux, Dienas Mediji, Radio TEV, and radio EHR Latviešu Hiti. The latest updates about Prāta Vētra’s tour and activities can be found on the band’s social media: Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
